I like school. I never thought I would ever say that, but this year, I actually do like school. Except for Math (boring as always) and Malay (the teacher makes watching paint dry seem like so much fun). All my other classes are pretty good, yes even Physics even though I was cursing it just last week but...it's not that bad. I mean, I'll just probably forget all about the laws of reflection and refraction and pin methods after next year anyway so why not make the most of it? (DOES THAT EVEN MAKE SENSE?)
Chemistry rocks. I love Mr Spiers. In a totally platonic way of course. (and the fumes!) He is just so huggable. And Mr Meer (pronounced MEEEER apparently) too because he proved the Chinese Lady who sits behind me but who is not actually Chinese WRONG by being funny and cool and totally huggable as well. Mr Perry has pouty lips (apparently, according to a certain friend of mine who seems to like staring at his lips), heh. He is teaching us English for 2 periods a week so yaaaay BUT it is not enough! He is excellent and has a high pitched voice which makes him sound girly and he smiles all the time and he is adorably adorable for a 40+ year old man. (Amal has dibs on him though, the wench)
I intensely dislike hormones.
Anyway. Also took fencing as an extracurricular activity - was TIRING but fun all the same! THERE WAS POKING. And then we had to learn this fencing movement-type-step-thing and it was like dancing, except I can't dance but it was fun and made my head hurt for a bit but still! Fun. Fun fun funfunfun.
....yes. Also, to all of those mofos who are reading this whom I adore, you know who you are: HELLO.
Oh yeah, I also like doing homework now. Omg. The world is flat and Mr Perry isn't hot.
I apologize for the caps! Exclamation marks too! I like William Orbit! I haven't been this hyper for ages since...actually well since earlier today when Mr Perry came into our class and I was grinning madly like you know, Shrek in that poster of Shrek 2? The one of him with the donkey and Princess what's-her-face singing? Actually no, I just made that up. Must fight urge to say yay!

My life is so uninteresting.
I snuck my ipod to a wedding today. (a sort-of wedding actually but I'm not in the mood to explain Malay customs) I listened to Ladytron the whole time. I don't think anyone noticed. Was very bad of me. Ladytron is liek so kewl! Yes, they are.
Gary and I broke up. It was...expected. I didn't really feel anything when it happened, not angry, not sad, not happy...nothing. Huh.
My life is so uninteresting.
And to be honest, I don't really mind much.

Since hate is a strong word, I intensely dislike my Science practical classes. Just...no. No no no no. I get nervous. And twitchy. I fumble around with the apparatus. I swear I was shaking earlier today in Physics. It's a wonder how I didn't stab one of my palms with the pins/nails we had to work with.
And I am back to my Nick Zinner obsession. He just has such lovely hair.

I just finished re-reading 'Chicken Soup of The Soul'...and there was this one story that inspired me to write this list. In the story, John Goddard wrote a list which contained all his life goals when he was 15. There were 127 of them. Since then he has completed 108 of those goals. I figured, if he can do it, I can too. So here's what I came up with...(some of them are petty fantasies, such as the 5th but a girl can dream)
- Go bungee-jumping.
- Photograph Niagara Falls.
- Visit the Great Wall of China
- Dive in a submarine
- Marry Joaquin Phoenix. Marry Gary Oldman. I figured these guys would probably be too old for me by the time I'm 25 so I'm going to choose someone who's closer to my age, Daniel Radcliffe *grin* aka Tash's twin.
- Type 50 words per minute.
- Own at least 13 pairs of Converse shoes.
- Dye my hair green or blue.
- Swim in Lake Victoria.
- Visit every country in the world. (which leaves me with roughly 171 more countries to go)
- Learn to ride a horse.
- Learn to fence.

How my day went:
- Woke up at 6am, was unable to go back to sleep as had stomachache.
- Discovered that stomachache was Diarrhea. Diarrhea = not fun.
- On the way to my grandparents' house dad bought these small weird Chinese pills for me so I'd feel better.
- Threw up pills in the car.
- Threw up last night's dinner at the side of a road.
- Made note to self: no more eating bad squid.
- Headache developed.
- Wanted to throw up on the oriental rug at my grandparents' house but didn’t.
- Slept for 2 hours at grandparents' house on a couch. Was sprawled rather unattractively while sleeping. Think was drooling but am not quite sure.
- Went back home, attempted to eat dinner, felt very nauseous afterwards.
- Have really strange attraction to Anthony Hopkins in the movie 'Meet Joe Black'.
So no, I don’t feel fucking fine.

So. I have an eye infection. It's similar to the one I had earlier this year, and it feels like I have a zit in my eye. (trust me, this is much worse than having one in the nose or ear, and I've had both) This sucks. I can't even glare at people properly.
Anyway. My mom dragged me to this eid celebration thingy for the Ministry of Health thingy and I was so sure that I was going to die from boredom by the end of the day.
But of course, I'm still here. (unfortunately for some of you, I'm sure x_x)
It was actually quite fun. Other than the traumatic experience of watching and listening to my mother singing on stage (whoever invented karoeke must've been an evil, evil person) of course.
"Mom, when you're going on stage to sing, I'm going to hide in the toilet."
"Why?"
"Because I'll be so embarassed. *laughs nervously*"
"*mom laughs too*"
But hey! She's a lot better than my dad whenever he tries to sing Robbie Williams' songs.
So this is a list of what I've learned today:
- I love my mom. (cue the 'awwws')
- My mom's good friend, Sharifah, is so cool and hilarious. I hope she owns a country one day and makes traveling by pogosticks the official transport system of said country.
- My mom has a quite good singing voice.
- Looking politely interested for 3 hours is a pain in the ass.

Kazaa and dial-up can go suffocate for all I care.
Mom's nagging about my exam results every. single. day. It's like, "Have any of your friends said anything about the results? Do they know when it's coming out?" And whenever she does this I just get this terrible headache. It'll be a miracle if my head doesn't split open by the end of this week.
I still haven't downloaded a new FTP software. FTP sucks. Well, no it doesn't but my FTP client does. Alex, I had a dream about you. Again. LOL This time I couldn't really remember/see your face but I *knew* it was you and you were standing in front of a white picket fence and just said "Nisa, you lost your rabbit!" And um, that's it. Wow. x.X I really must lay off the pizza for a while, especially before I go to bed.
Fe just got me into Nightwish. I listened to "Nemo" all night yesterday. Just...awesome. Kind of reminded me of Evanescence but Nightwish are a lot better. Another band to get obsessed with. :D

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Tom Hanks is expected to step into the scholarly shoes of Robert Langdon, the professor who unravels the mystery of the Holy Grail in the film version of Dan Brown's phenomenally successful novel "The Da Vinci Code."
Hanks has emerged as director Ron Howard and producer Brian Grazer's top choice for the lead role in the film, which Columbia Pictures hopes to begin shooting next year. And talks have begun for the actor to join the project.
"Tom is an exciting actor to watch thinking," Howard was quoted as saying in the latest issue of Newsweek. "We probably don't need his status from a box office standpoint, but he gives Langdon instant legitimacy."
Hanks, who currently can be seen onscreen in animated form in Warner Bros. Pictures' "The Polar Express," previously worked with Howard in 1995's "Apollo 13" and 1984's "Splash."
Howard is currently completing work on "The Cinderella Man," a boxing drama starring Russell Crowe , which Universal Pictures will release in the summer.
Akiva Goldsman, who wrote the screenplay for Howard's "A Beautiful Mind," is working on the screen adaptation of Brown's Doubleday novel, which has spent 86 weeks on the New York Times' hardcover fiction best-seller list.

Meh. I'm quite disappointed, I never really imagined Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon. I was more of a Gary!Robert fan because he is an amazing actor and I think he suits the part quite well. Harrison Ford is too old though o.O Ah well I love the book...it keeps getting better each time I read it. And I'll just keep my Gary!Robertfantasies to myself. Scholarly types are just so attractive. I think I'm going to read Angels and Demons again. *loves Robert/Bob*

Last night my cousin noticed my nails, which were painted black, and she just gave me this look and said, "Since when did you become a goth?" Oh wow. I just laughed right then and there, thinking how utterly idiotic my dear cousin was. Just because my nails were painted black, I have suddenly become a 'goth'? Er, excuse me but just because someone is wearing Etnies clothes doesn't necessarily mean that he or she is a 'skater'. What if you see someone wearing a shirt and pants from GAP, Converse high tops and black eyeliner and nail polish? Is he or she a hybrid of some sorts?
The media has fucked us all up. And I am not a 'goth'. I'm me.
Unfortunately this topic has nothing to do with how I'm feeling right now. That was just stuck in my head for a while and now I have entirely something else on my mind.

Apparently my mother thinks that I 'buy too many books and not enough clothes'.
Too lazy to post any details on the trip, it was great, did a lot of sightseeing and didn't know that the Swiss spoke French. (channel 51 and 52 in the tv in our hotel room had free porn. AND DIDNT INFORM ME! *shockhorror*)
Alex, the Hullabaloo DVD ROCKED. And the documentary was hilarious, esp. the scenes of Dom and Chris in the shower, LOL. Crazy. *shakes head*
Hmm I'm thinking of opening up a site/blog again. Then I'll just quit livejournal. Hm.

Meh...Swiss keyboards are weird. I cant find the apostrophe key anywhere so please excuse my punctuation -,- Im at the business center at the hotel were staying in...its like, empty o.O so yeah. Im having a great time over here, Italy and France are only like 30 minutes away from here (okay, more like..a couple of hours *shrug*) and we went to a city in France yesterday (dont know how to spell it -,-) plus the mountains and it was absolutely breathtaking.
I havent sent out the postcards yet, lol Ive been putting it off since the first daz we got here. Ahh I feel so bad. Ill get around to it later...promise! XD
